This is glucosamine chondroitin formula. it doesnt have bad taste, they are big and not so easy to swallow, but they are good for knee and joint pain. You can feel improvement after second package. It has to minimize inflammation in the affected areas, in my opinion. It works in whatever way it does. Ok the trailing end of a gouty arthritis flare up, I usually do 400mg Ibuprofen. I added this in to see if 5-Loxin would be helpful, and within a week I was off the Ibuprofen. I have affected toe, ankle, knee, elbow, finger and hip joints that alternate in when they flare up , usually one after the other if uncontained via NSAIDs. Chronically stiff joints now feel better. I've been searching for a more natural alternative to NSAIDS. For gout flare-ups I usually do a course of Indomethacin then taper down to Ibuprofen. I really hope this will remove the need for both. I have also since discovered a more effective alternative to 5-Loxin which is Apresflex, and the good thing is, it's still Boswellia derived. I will give that a go next month. I see iHerb already carries a few brands with the Apresflex ingredient. Hope this may help you as it helped me!
