good quality, right form (D3) but

My endocrinologist recently told me that larger doses of vitamin D are now recommended (at least for folks like me who need to build more bone density). He said that 1000-2000 units is now recommended daily, therefore this capsule with 400 units isn't going to cut it for me anymore. He recommended adding a 1000 mg tablet of D3, which along with the 400 units I get from my calcium tablets, and the 400 units I get from my multiple vitamin, bring me up to 1800 units per day. Therefore these 400 unit capsules are not very economical at that dosage level.
