I use a ton of cumin in my cooking, and so I buy it in bulk, and prefer it to be organic. Compared to other brands I have tried, this has by far the best quality! It is more spicy and has the strongest, freshest flavor. I will always buy Jiva Organics cumin from now on when it is available!
Cumin is very expensive where I live so I was happy to find this. The package is a good size and the quality seems very high. It tastes fresh as well. I use it in lots of dishes and it adds a great flavor. It’s a useful ingredient to have in the kitchen.
Jiva has another winner with these very strongly flavorful cumin seeds. I prefer getting cumin seeds to cumin powder for superior freshness and longer lasting quality and shelf life, but the whole seeds were out of stock this time. No matter really, as I use this ingredient very frequently. Jiva's ingredients are always top of line in terms of taste and freshness, and this is no exception. I also appreciate the sturdy plastic ziploc-style packaging, ensuring no torn bags and undiminished quality.

I use cumin in my kitchen most days, I kept my jar and just poured in the Product to reuse. I used a funnel and the smell of this cumin is very pleasant and the flavor is not as strong as other cumin powders I've used. Its a large quantity and will last me a long time.
This 200g pack of cumin is great for refilling exhausted spice jars. I think the flavor is very fresh, and it's great that this is sold at such a fine grind. I really like the packaging as it comes with a zip-top sealer. In terms of the taste, I use it in Mexican and Indian cooking.
Great price for a nice size bag of organic cumin powder. It's high quality with a nice strong fragrance and potent flavor. The only disappointment was that the package won't reseal-- there is a defect in the ziplock top and it won't zip shut, so I just transferred the whole bag to a glass jar. Easy fix.
