The product is glass jar with tint cap. When it’s new and sealed, it contains 2 layers: a cream underneath and a gel-oil on top. Prior to use, mix these two layers together.
The story behind these 2 layers is, the brand claims that they found the ready-to-use cream seemingly reduced its properties while sitting in the shelf of the retail store or in the warehouse. Therefore, they separate the 2 forms (cream and gel-oil) in order to retain the potent characteristics of the product. When you start using it, you will be the person who activate all of the ingredients in the cream by mixing the 2 layers together.
I’m in my mid-30s with oily to combination, acbe-prone skin type. I live in a cool and dry city all year around so my skin often goes on dehydrated or allergenic side. This cream leaves my skin super supple and moist, to the point I think it’s a bit greasy for my skin type. But I’m very happy with it. I use it as either a repairing cream or sleeping mask.
The texture is velvety and light-buttery. It has a very subtle scent of raw bamboo, not really my reference but I get used to it fast.
If you are on the mature side, or having dry skin, this product is one good option. If you are more of oily skin but still want to give it a try, I suggest to use it at night and in the cold weather. If you are acne-prone, better to find another product because this one might give your skin a hard time to tolerate.
I must rate this product excellent because of the way it hydrates my skin so intensively and the price tag is way too good to be true!
