I have purchased this protein dozens of times and its about time I left a review. I will start out that if you shake it in plain water or milk it will leave a few chunks. No big deal for me, I shake with ice cubes alleviating that. This is hands down the best tasting non whey protein around. If you are really trying to gain muscle with out the extra sugar that is all whey is, this is for you.
I have tried so many protein and this is by far the best beef protein I must say. it's not thick and it taste good, not sweet most importantly. I would definitely stick with this as I'm lactose intolerant. I am recommending it to those having same issues as me.
It has been 2 weeks that I stopped taking whey protein (after 10 years of daily consumption) and I am most impressed by the results of this protein. I have lost 1/2 inch of fat on my stomach, gained muscle mass everywhere and my muscles seem firmer and more cut. This is a very high-quality protein which explains its price. What was important to me in buying this protein is that it is tested free of hormones and antibiotics. It is incredibly delicious, thick, and creamy. I also buy Julian Bakery's Paleo Thin Beef Protein Bars (made from the same protein powder). This is the ONLY protein I will keep buying.
I’m usually highly suspicious of protein powders. They usually taste fake, excessively sweet, full of artificial sugars and additives or have an unpleasant texture. After reading the review for this powder, I figured I would give it a try. This is hands-down the best protein powder I’ve ever tried. The flavour is chocolatey, without any aftertaste, fantastic smooth texture and even makes drinks feel richer. My husband, who typically avoids protein powder at all costs, specifically asks to have a smoothie, just to be able to add this powder! And the best part?! It’s grass-fed beef protein! I’ve been focusing on eating more whole foods and paying attention to how food is grown, so grass-fed protein ranks high on my list. Pro tip: great addition to a milkshake, to make it “healthy” 😉
I’ve been using this chocolate protein powder for a few months now and I am absolutely hooked! It tastes like a chocolate milkshake and the ingredients are excellent quality. This is the perfect product to add to your pantry if you’re looking to add a bit of extra protein into your diet.
Over the last 25 years, I have researched and bought many protein powders. Julian Bakery, Paleo Protein, is by far the best! It's easy to digest, high protein (25g per serving) low glycemic, sweetened with organic stevia leaf (I like to add a little monk fruit) and mixes very well with a hand mixer. Simply delicious! My daughter likes to add a shot of expresso and ice to her drink. It's like a dessert with nutritional benefits.
This tastes AMAZING. I'm following an AIP diet and had a hard time finding a protein shake that's compliant. But this stuff is great. It takes a while of stirring to get the full scoop to dissolve, but you can definitely use a blender and it makes your task much easier.
Actually tastes like chocolate and I drink it almost everyday in a matcha latte Great in smoothies too I can’t have whey or pea protein and anything plant based doesn’t truly absorb properly and is not easy for your body to digest and breakdown Love the clean ingredients as well Not too sweet ! Update: why is this always out of stock now?!? Come on iherb …
This protein drink really tastes chocolate-y. It’s thick and satisfies me well. I find it quite a challenge to mix though so i use a blender. Works well with an ordinary blender, no need for hi tech ones. It’s a decent quality protein drink for me.
