Product Overview

  • Environmentally Smart: This Product Uses No Endangered Wood

A well-made hairbrush can last you many years. Hairbrushes with natural boar bristles have been preferred for centuries. Each of our Ambassador Hairbrushes has been carefully hand-crafted to provide years of enjoyable use. Ambassador Hairbrushes are made from non-endangered woods, beautifully durable and smooth to the touch. We offer many handle designs to comfortably fit any hand, we also have an extensive range of brush styles to fit many different needs, including hairstyling brushes, professional brushes, as well as wooden & plastic pin options on some styles to expand the range of available options.

Boar bristles distribute the natural oils from their origin in the scalp to the hair ends. Besides adding luster, brushing with a fine Ambassador Hairbrush protects your hair from the elements which cause drying and splitting. For thick hair we recommend our Pneumatic Brushes. They are made with the finest boar bristles available and then reinforced with nylon quills. These brushes can tame the thickest hair while distributing your natural hair oils. Putting time aside each day to pamper yourself using a fine Ambassador Hairbrush can add calm and relaxation to a hectic day.

Suggested Use

To care for your brush, we recommend washing in cool water with the shampoo you use on your hair. Because we use the finest woods we recommend that you do not soak your hairbrush. You can condition the natural boar bristles, and your hair, by using Nature's Alchemy essential oils of Rosemary or Lavender in the following manner: Place a small amount of Nature's Alchemy oil, just smaller than a dime, in the palm of your hand. Rub your hairbrush bristles in your palm to apply the oil and brush thoroughly from your scalp to the hair ends. You will see the added shine and conditioning effects immediately. This weekly routine will also add a lovely fragrance to your hair.

iHerb Customer Reviews

Great Brush!!!

Posted by iHerb Customer on March 20 2018 | Verified Purchase

I love this brush, I had one like this I bought in a health food store and I lost it during a road trip. I was so glad to find it at iHerb. My hair is wavy and long and this brush detangles my long hair without pulling hard at all. I actually brush my hair before bed because I'm guaranteed to a relax and sweet dream. Great product.

Really loving it so far!

Trying to gradually move to a shampoo-free hair routine and this brush has been a huge asset in that. Hair feels healthier and is shiny and smooth after I brush. Brush itself seems to be made well. Glad to have a quality product that I feel good about using. I have super thick hair so I do have to divide my hair into sections to get it all brushed and fully reap the benefits of the natural boar bristles, but it's only a couple of minutes and kind of a nice de-stressing moment. I still keep a regular plastic bristle brush on hand for when i'm just popping into house and need a quick detangling before going out, but I definitely prefer the boar bristle when I have the time.

Nice, but not revolutionary

This was the most money I've ever spent on a brush. I saw someone comparing it to Mason Pearson brush which intrigued me since there's a lot of hype around it. My hair is thin but I have a lot of it, as my hairdresser likes to say. I like the fact that these are natural bristles, made me proud to try to help my dull hair. Downside: I have to use tangle teezer if my hair is too tangled not this one. There was some static electricity in the beginning but I don't notice it anymore. Positive: I use this one only on dry hair and it gives me volume, something that no other brush managed to do before. Great for tying a ponytail.

Fuchs Boar Bristle hair brush

Took a bit to get used to the brush compared with the Gard plastic bristle brush I have been using.. It brushes through hair easily, knots no problem. My hair feels lovely & soft after using the brush. Very glad I found this brush.
