Add Zinc Oxide Powder to your lotions, creams, bath soaps, make-up, and other beauty products. Do not apply to skin alone. Zinc Oxide should be mixed with an emollient prior to application to the skin.

Recipe Ingredients:

½ cup almond oil

¼ cup coconut oil

¼ cup beeswax

2 tablespoons Zinc Oxide

Optional: up to 1 teaspoon Vitamin E Oil (acts as a preservative)

Optional: a few drops of essential oils of your preference

1. Combine ingredients except zinc oxide in a pint sized mason jar. 
2. Fill a medium saucepan with 2 inches of water and put the mason jar in the water 
3. Put the lid on the jar loosely 
4. When the ingredients start to melt, remove from the pan and add the zinc oxide 
5. Stir until zinc oxide is fully incorporated

Caution: For external use only. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. If irritation, redness, or discomfort occurs, discontinue use and consult a licensed healthcare practitioner. We recommend putting on protective gloves and mask to avoid inhaling the zinc oxide powder. The product has not been tested for SPF strength so any homemade sunscreen should be used with caution. Store in a cool, dry place.
